Excited to announce I'll be presenting in the 2024 Canadian Herb Conference!
In my presentation I'll be combining my art and herbalist practices and sharing my process of working with Ivy, Hedera helix, as an art material.
I started working with Ivy in 2022 as part of a research grant from Canada Council. It grew legs and I've since taught my process to hundreds of people, of all ages.
I have an upcoming artist residency in 2025 and have decided to close up my Conversations with Ivy project at the end of this year as I shift my focus to a new body of work.
Teaching this at the Herb Conference is an incredible way to close it out!
